Number one ahead of everything else is if you smoke, you must stop. Second is activity: if you don't exercise, start. If, like this writer, you hate to exercise for its own sake, find an activity loaded with it: I volunteer at a farm. Third, improve your diet, especially targeting reducing "white stuff." (Sugar, white flour, white starches, etc.)

First off, don't smoke. The best things are to eat food that has been processed the least. Fresh fruits and vegetables are very much needed and eat little, if any, red meat.

The best way to live healther is to watch your diet and exercise. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day and follow a lowfat diet. It is best to try not to be overweight. I know being over weight raises alot of your health risks.

Most people agree that exercise and eating right helps you live a long healthy life. A glass of wine a day is also very good for you. Depending on age I would suggest a daily vitamin for your age and gender. Other than that you should try to get out and walk around.
