During puberty, males and females begin to develop secondary sex characteristics and reach the point of sexual and reproductive maturity. For women, breasts grow, pubic hair grows underneath the armpits and in the pubic zone, and menarche (the first menstrual period) occurs. For men, pubic hair grows in underarm, pubic, and chest regions; the penis also grows and starts ejaculating.

During puberty, in females, the breasts undergo development and the girl has her first period. In boys, the voice deepens and the penis and testicles undergo maturation. In both sexes, there is an increase in body hair in the armpits and pubic region.

This depends on gender. If male, the voice begins to deepen, the adam's apple becomes more prominent, hair begins to grow on the face, in the armpits, and around the groin area. If female, the breasts begin to develop, the girl will have her first menstrual cycle, hair will start to grow in the groin area, ect.
