The bible contains many references to loneliness, in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. In Genesis 2:18 we are told that it is "not good for man to be alone. " In Psalm 25:16 the Psalmist proclaims "I am lonely and afflicted. " A biblical solution for loneliness is to participate in the Church, as prescribed in Heb. 10:25.

There are many verses that refer to loneliness. Take a look at the following list just to name a few: Psalm 68:6, Luke 5:16, Psalm 25:16, Psalm 102:7, Mark 1:25, Lamentations 1:1, Mark 6:25, and Issiah 30:17. Those are the few I found with a single search. There are probably more.

Bible says that Fame always brings brings lonliness to the people. Success that too frequent successes make you believe that you are different from other people and some stoop to such folly thinking that they are even above God. This gradually make them feel so lonely that they even find it difficult to lead a proper life

Psalm 68:6 says that "God makes a home for the lonely. " Psalm 102 talks about the loneliness that King David felt. In Mark 15:34 we see the strongest reference to being lonely, when Jesus cries out on the cross, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me? "
