"The Wasteland", by T.S. Eliot, is a good example of a poem that uses allusions. Another is Thomas Nashe's "Litany in time of Plague," which alludes to Helen of Troy.
The Mariner is a good example, by Shelley. In this poetic text the writer alludes to various romantic allegories, like ships, ruins, and castles, from which he outlines the ways of living freely.
