Cons- euthanasia is legal in few states and countries. Some oppose on religious grounds and fear eugenics. Pros- an end to suffering and individual choice for end of life decisions.

Those against say that deciding whether a person gets to live and when a person dies devalues the sanctity of life, opening the door to thoughtless abortion and ultimately, human extermination. Those in favor say that euthanasia allows people to die with dignity and avoids needless suffering.
