There are tons of ridiculous and unusual laws, but a few are that it is illegal to hunt whales in Utah, it is illegal for a monkey to smoke cigarettes in New York City and it is illegal to go around the town square in Oxford, Mississippi more than 50 times.

In Florida, it is illegal to have sex with a porcupine. Alcoholic beverages cannot be displayed within five feet of the cash register in a California store that sells motor oil. Newlyweds in Illinois may not make love while hunting or fishing on the same day as the wedding. Kansas law prohibits shooting rabbits from a motorboat.
