What are some of the drawbacks of technology?

Technology may use a lot of natural resources that are not renewable in that it needs energy. Energy is created through methods such as burning fossil fuels and pollutes the environment. It also reduces the level of inquiry in a population if someone can just look up an answer instead of trying to think about it themselves first.

I think the biggest one is that people will use technology in conjunction with whatever they are doing. If they are watching tv they are on their computer. It also has made driving less safe, because people text and talk on the phone while they are driving.
