What are some of the disadvantages of the Internet with regard to family?

On Facebook, family members sometimes feel the need to correct you if they think you are doing or saying something wrong. They also tend to push their religious beliefs on you more than a friend or associate would because they don't feel like they have to respect those boundaries because they are family.

Many kids today spend countless hours on the internet. Thus, it impedes the amount of time a family unit can spend "quality" face to face time together. Kids may develop social problems as a result of the lack of real communication with their family.
