Most non-government organizations have to do with nonprofits. They include: Charities Aid Foundation India, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, Jaipur (helps people with disabilities); Helpage India(for the elderly); The Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (provides grants); Asha for Education; and Tarun Bharat Sangh (for management of forests and water resources).

There are many non-governmental organisations in India.Basically they are termed as NGOs, which actually means non-profit companies. Organizations such as CRY (Child Relief and You)is one example.
