Some of the most recent country songs I've heard have been "Innocent" by Taylor Swift, "Ten" by Jewel, "Draw me a Map" by Dierks Bentley, and "Why Wait" by Rascal Flats. If you enjoy the lighter, more "pop" side of country, I definitely recommend Taylor Swift. My favorite song of hers would have to me "You Belong with me"
Some new popular country songs are Kenny Chesney-The Boys of Fall, Talyor Swift- Mine, Jennette McCurdy-Not That Far Away, Carrie Underwood-Undo It, and Dierks Bentley-Bad Angel
Currently the top 5 big hits in country music are Lady Antebellum's "Our Kind of Love," Kenny Chesney's "The Boys of Fall," Josh Turner's "All Over Me," Easton Corbin's "Roll With It," Billy Currington's "Pretty Good At Drinking Beer." I like old country better, not the cheesy poppy stuff today.
"Damned If I Do" by Kate Russell, "The Highway Patrol" by Paul Brandt, "John Deere John 3:16" by Chris Filer, "Something Going On" by Wayne Warner & Bonnie Tyler and "First Call After Last Call" by Jesse & Noah.
