Using the fan brush loaded up with fairly heavily linseed oiled paint, you can flick the brush and tap it against another brush. This flips speckles of paint across a nearly finished landscape to give the effect of small flowers, leaves, etc.

without being able to physically assist you in specific areas, the best I can say is to watch and study works by bob ross. While his episodes can be cliche, he has good fundamental techniques for people creating art at all ages and levels. Good landscapes focus on details and gradiating.

For flowers and bushes and such, you can dab your brush straight down, the brush flares out and creates a floral pattern. For water-short light strokes.

When painting, try to depict the shape of the masses in the landscape, instead of going into much detail. For starters, this is a great way to develop a strong and personal brush-stroke style. Focus more on shape and composition at first before moving on to accuracy.
