You can buy hardback books with blank lined pages. Plenty of room for your guests to add their names, dates stayed and any comments they wish to put!

My recommendation is to get some collections of short stories that people can flick through in the lounge over a drink, all of Chekov, Dickens and Poe are great but sometimes you will be able to find a collection of short stories by letter known writers. Also a few good collections of quotations and poetry are good.
