Some Japanese car brands include Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus/scion, and Mitsubishi. I can't say they are the absolute best but most offer great cars for the money. It really depends on the kind of car you want and which model you are talking about.

Some of the most well-known japanese cars are Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi, it had been well-known for its quality, however, recently founded defects rejects this talk.
