I have known girls with the names Chardonnay and Chablis. For a boy, try Macon, short for Macon Villages. For more exotic names, there are Vouvray or Dubonnet. There is the relatively new blended, boutique Italian white wine called Ageno, which could be either a female or male name.

A wine name that is also nice for a childs name is Sherry. Sherry is a good name for a girl.

You can name your child something unusual or something not so strange. Good kids names are: Chianti, Sherry,Rose',Syrah,or Chablis. Good luck.
