Can you give any idea of how long to boil wine to remove alcohol?

I love serving wine, but have 2 friends that certainly don't need the alcohol!

You must boil wine for a couple of hours (depending on the amount) until the water/alcohol is gone and a thick reduction remains. You then rehydrate the wine with plain water. This method renders a fairly nasty-tasting result. There are non-alcoholic wines on the market that you would probably enjoy more.

It is believed that alcohol evaporates at 175 degrees. If you add wine to a sauce, you would need to boil the sauce 20 to 30 seconds after adding the wine to burn off alcohol.

Wine is actually very temperature-sensitive. If you boil it, you might (or might not) remove the alcohol, but you will completely destroy the flavor. You would be better off not serving wine at all, or buying a non-alcoholic variety in which the alcohol has been removed through different means.

Low is low! Boil it for some hours at low temperature and wait for looking the viscous residue and alcohol would be away. Look for the residue and when you are almost done just put 10% of water more to avoid residue get fired when liquid is almost all gone.
