It would be nice if you involved the community in some way. Perhaps you could use local school children's Christmas art to decorate? Or show historic photos of your town, comparing now and then. Of course a classic display of the latest fashions and popular Christmas presents of the year never fails, either.

Decorate the place with nice candles. It will give a festive mood. Try to decorate the door and entrance. don't forget to bye Christmas cakes and Christmas gifts. Buy a nice Christmas tree and place it in the apt place and decorate the tree with Christmas cards and Christmas gifts.

In a small mall the best ideas for a Christmas display would be for either a Nativity scene or a very small Santa's village. You can also put in a small cottage with a fence around it with lights and wreaths with candy canes.
