You can often treat the area with pepper and it may help to get rid of the ants. Simple ant powder will always work as well.

One of the least expensive but yet most effective treaments for ant indoors or outdoors is the application of red pepper. Powered red pepper applied directly to ant hills works fantastically to eliminate any type of ants you may have. Also once the mounds are treated apply a 6 inch band of pepper around the foundation of the home.

Just spray some ammonia all over the grass- that will chase them away. Also black pepper and lemon mixtures tend to distract the ants away from the direction they are located in. So thus, the best remedy is to use this black pepper and lemon mixture. Use ammonia if it doesn't work.

Try planting mint around your lawn. Load up a spray bottle with white vinegar and spray it all over your lawn.

You can use some lemon juice,pour it on your grass.Other people use some boric acid and they mixed it with anything that is sweet and this will kill that ants.
