If you are referring to elementary and high school, there are no "grants" except the financial aid the individual institution may provide. There are no government subsidies or federal aid programs. The government funds public education. If you would like to opt for an alternative, it's up to you and the school to figure out how to pay for it.

Financial aid for private elementary and high schools come from the schools themselves or in the case of Catholic schools, the Diocese. Check with the school for info.

Well, you can apply for a government grant, but better yet to apply for some scholarships so that your children can attend. In some cases, it is hard to apply for this because public school education is always offered and thus going to a private school may be more of a luxury.

All private schools offer financial aid. For religious private schools, contact the supporting religious organization and apply for a scholarship.

Grants are giving by the federal government. You need to fill out a fasfa at the beginning of feb or sooner if your taxes will allow. The federal governement looks at your expected efc and gives you money based on the school you are attending.

If your children are entering grade or high school students, there are hardly any grants available to pay for a private school. However, some Parochial schools and perhaps private schools may provide scholarship for students based on need and merit. Check the school for their schlarship policy.
