Dont use black flag, orany cheap bug sprays. The biggest and most effective brand is raid. They kill all bugs instantly. Almost all other brands doesn't kill them instantly.

Most commercially available roach sprays are acceptable. For example, RAID, Bengal, Real Kill, and Black Flag should all work just fine. Alternatively, contact a pest control professional.

You will want a spray that comes with an extension nozzle for squirting into all cracks, holes, crevasses you can find where roaches hide. Spray into the walls, under appliances and counters and behind heavy furniture. If you have old board floors, spray between the floor boards. Without the extension nozzle you won't have much success.
