If you're a nature lover and an adventurer there's nothing like a little exploration by yourself to find your own herbal walk! Start off with some familiar places and then go well off road and also into some woods and desolate areas! Don't forget to check out some parks too!
The University of Maryland medical Center has some courses on herbal medicine. You can check with them what the best places are to discover and find lots of herbs. I'm sure students there will be able to suggest a lot of places too.
Check out some herbal events being planned all over the US. There are conferences, fund raisers, awareness campaigns etc. These are a rich source of the info you need.

Carry a good herbal book with you on the walks so you can try identifying these herbs and vegetations. It'll be interesting! add a comment
Try Breezewood in Monkton in Maryland , there is a rock garden with Buddhist culture and buddhist art , there is a swimming pool and it is truly a very rejuvenating place.
