You can make your own terrarium using an old 2 liter soda bottle cut in half. Fill with soil and a few plants of your choice.

A rainstick craft would work for Earth Day. Use empty paper towel or toilet paper rolls. Poke lots stick pins into the sides of the roll. Close off one end with recycled paper and add uncooked rice (about 1/2c.). Close off other end and wrap entire tube with paper.
