The best comebacks take some aspect of what has just been said to you and twist it around on the other person.

The comeback has to be relevant to work, so there isn't just one standard or universal comeback. There are websites that list snappy comebacks to give you some ideas.

Aside from the classic comeback "So is your mother," you can try "I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce," "I don't know what makes you tick, but I hope it's a bomb," or "Sorry, I can't think of an insult stupid enough for you. "
