What are some good colors for bedrooms?

I am repainting my whole house.

Depends on your personality or colors that make you relax. If you like earth tones an olive green or coffee brown , if you like water tones a sky blue, or a blue green, if you're a loving person then the reds or pinks would be the way to go.

I prefer to go with soothing warm colors for bedrooms. Loud colors would probably keep you awake. Maybe a deep blue or forest green.

Bedrooms should reflect the desire to sleep, the tranquility one seeks at the end of the day. Avoid bright or harsh colors and stick with gentle hues or earth tones.

If you want your bedroom to having a calming effect the best colours to go for are pale pastels, pale pinks & blues etc. Vivid pinks, yellows and bright blues for a vibrant fresh feel to the room. To make your room seem bigger it would be best to go with pale cream colours.

Blues are calming and encourage sleep and peace, however certain blues can feel cold rather than relaxing. Pink is often to vibrant when trying to sleep, but a soft pink may be comforting. yellow walls can indicate danger and red walls can symbolise passion, lust or anger. Purple is often oppressive.

Choose one color and tone everything in the same color scheme. Some good colors would be blue or green, but if you want a unique experience, try red or orange.

Any shade of blue or neutral colors such as white, gray or tan are perfect for bedrooms. You want something calming and relaxing. When looking at paint samples, if the color excites you or irritates you, don't choose it. Pastel and light shades are better options than any dark colors.
