Good autisic developmental toys would be toys that help with stimulation, development and social interaction. Board games are great for interaction, helping to take turns. Musical toys help with motor skills, visual, using the sense of sound. Even clay and paint, to help them cope with different textures is great.

You want simple, non noisy toys. Simple picture books, balls, stuffed animals. Nothing with noises and lights and you will be fine.

Depending on what aspects you want to focus on, there are tons of ideas out there. For planning & sequencing, they have puzzles and games at all levels. For language & communication, there are toy phones and flash cards. They even have small teeter totters or slides for emotional regulation.

Anything with lots of texture to them are great for autistic children. They learn from feeling things. It can be something simple like a piece of yarn. Touch is important.

I've heard from a few different mommies that have children who are autistic that anything visual/building helps. Things such as paint/blocks/crafts are a big plus.
