Tropical climates have very diverse animal populations. The Amazon rainforest has the most diverse fauna in the world! Tropical animals include toucans, lemurs, parrots, bonobos, sloths, crocodiles, pythons and many unique species of frog.

This would depend on your climate, whether a savannah/desert, or rainforest. Most of the animals you commonly think of as "jungle" such as lions, tigers, elephants, monkeys, etc are tropical.
