Baking heart shaped cookies or cookies with valentine themes is always good for young children. Also, making cards is always fun. Keep the supply list simple. Sometimes a few pieces of paper or cardstock, crayons or colored pencil, a ruler and child safe scissors will do the job just fine.

Pre-make cards out of cardstock. 1) Dip a heart-shaped cookie cutter in paint or glue and press onto card. Sprinkle with glitter and let dry. 2) Cut a sponge into a heart shape. Dip into paint and press onto card. 3) Dip thumbs in paint and press onto card one after the other to make heart shapes.
