Kids can decorate an easter basket to leave out. They can also draw designs on an egg cutout, or make a bunny puppet out of a paper bag. Older kids can weave their own easter basket. If it is a religious daycare, they can color a cross. Kids love to decorate cookies - use a chicken one!

Draw a simple bunny rabbit outline on enough paper plates for the children in your group. Then let the children glue cotton balls in the outline.

For a few dollars, buy some of those plastic colored eggs at the store. You can work with the kids to decorate them with gems, beads, colored paper, feathers, and kid-friendly glue. You can also put one or two pieces of candy inside for the kids to take home.

You can make little chicks out of pom poms. Have each child make an egg pinata using a balloon and papermache.
