A nice style is a plait at the side of the head taking it over the head in place of a a lice band. A french plait starting from the top of the head always looks good. Take hair from the sides up to top of head and secure with band leaving hair at back lose.

Two ponytails are always age appropriate and cute. Make sure they have ribbons on them which are color coordinated to the outfit. One high ponytail is also cute with a big wide bow. Pulling the front hair half back also looks nice and a little more dressy. Again, this hairstyle needs a bow too.

Pigtails are adorable, as are ponytails. Another great look, is taking the hair on the top of the head, and putting it into a ponytail on top of the head. My absolute favorite is french braids. One down the back of the head or two on each side of the back of the head. Top each with a bow.

For toddler age, I think the cutest hair style is the "pebbles" ponytail that goes straight up from the top of their head. I have seen alot of them wearing this lately and it is really cute. If it is short, it is cute to have it cute around their face.
