What are some conversation starters with women?

I have always had trouble talking to women. I have matured, and I'm ready for a girlfriend, I just need help getting started.

Don't try too hard - act natural and be yourself. It's cliched but true! Don't go for a cheesy chat up line - do you have a shared interest you could chat about? Ask an open ended question rather than something that could be answered with 'yes' or 'no' - and importantly, genuinely listen to the answers she gives!

I'm a woman and we love talking about ourselves. Honestly. Ask where a girl is from, comment on the area she's from if you can and ask more questions.

Well being a girl it would be good to say hello and introduce yourself that does not hurt. If you are at a club ask her to dance if she says yes talk while you are dancing to see if you get along with her then let the rest happen.

It's always good to start off with asking them something about themselves. Women feel comfortable talking about themselves and it will open the door for more conversation. Ask her a good book or movie she's read or seen lately. That should give you some cues.
