Traditionally, the flags colors are used for decoration (red, white and green). People feast on tradtional Mexican food (similar to our Thanksgiving). Traditional (varying by region) dances and music are popular ways to celebrate too. Most importantly, Cinco De Mayo is about educating the younger generations and celebrating the culture and history of Mexican Heritage.
