The Middle East is a large territory, and traditions may vary by country or even by tribal designation. Your best bet is to learn the ethnicity of your future sister in law, then head to the library or a cultural center for her culture and read up on their customs.

Your best way to learn about her traditions is to go directly to her. Her traditions will differ based on her actual country of origin, the region of that country, her religion, and the actual time she grew up there. How did they meet? Does she now live here? She may not follow some of those traditions anymore.

There are many middle eastern traditions and most of them depend on each family and their culture and religion. Most of the time, traditions have something to do with the holidays, baking fresh bread every morning, lighting candles, praying certain times of the day, and wearing certain clothing on certain days.
