You will want to develop as many of your pieces as soon as possible with the goal of controlling the center of the board and apply pressure on your opponent.

Try to think several moves ahead - before you move your piece, see what moves that will give your opponent and think what you'd do if you were him.

Beginners should take plenty of time to make decisions when playing chess. Strategies are difficult to learn and come with time playing the game.

It depends on the colour of figurines. White figurines can play agresively and force a mistake, black figurines may sit back and also wait for the first mistake.
