There are three species of bears that live within the Canadian Borders, but mostly in the uninhabited areas of the Canadian Wilderness. The first is the Brown Bear, more commonly known as the Grizzly Bear. Next, there is the Black Bear and finally the Polar Bear.

There are four main kinds in Canada. The polar bear is one of them. The brown bear and the grizzley, a closely related pair, are two more. The fourth is the black bear, which can be blonde or cinnamon in color. In the north, you can sometimes find polar-grizzley hybrids.
