Gifted children may feel like they are not understood. So they may show some attitude from what I have personally experienced. For example, Edgar Allan Poe, very talented poet also felt misunderstood.
Sometimes gifted children can become bored in school when the work isn't challenging enough. They might also become impatient with classmates who aren't up to their speed.
