Skinks are a variety of lizard. Usually they are small forest dwellers that are known for being super fast. They live on small insects and come in a large variety of colors. Sometimes they move so fast in an S type pattern that they can be mistaken for snakes. Some skinks can drop their tail whenever they feel threatened.
