Some say the Mormon church is a cult, not a good thing. It also has a great many rules and rituals that must be obeyed to be a Mormon in good standing. Another expectation the church has is that you have many children to be in line with their ideals.

All reasons used to not join the Mormon church can be refuted. The Mormon church is called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, and as been wrongly accused of not being a christian church. If someone presents a reason why you should not, then examine their motives.
