Generally, inmates have a right to humane treatment and access to the necessary services of humane treatment. Incarceration interferes with the rights that one would normally enjoy prior to becoming a felon.
Inmates "rights" per se, are predicated on the institution in which they are serving time. Inmates have certain rights, which vary, but do not have all the Constitutional Rights.
Inmates still retain all constitutional rights, specifically they still have the right to be free from free and unusual punishment, religious freedom, right to associate, etc.
