I have read that putting Listerine mouthwash on the bites helps provide relief from the itching. Placing white toothpaste on the bites will also help to stop the itch, and so will a milk bath.
Mix crused Benadryl tablets into a paste with Benzocaine Toothache liquid and apply on bites. This smells awful but works great. It provides instant relief.
