What are "free lease contracts"?

Is that where people don't pay to lease things?

It depends on the context, but the following is a common example: Leasor allows Leasee to live in his house rent-free. In exchange, Leasee pays maintenance expenses on the house.

A free lease contract allows a horseowner/lessor to lend his/her animal to the "lessee", in return for the lessee's agreement to feed/house the animal. Other than in the equine context, "free leases" are an unlikely, but not impossible, contract formation - but an attorney would just call such agreements "leases".

Free lease contracts do not allow someone to lease something for free. It is simply a lease contract which you can copy for free, instead of paying for the form.
