What are examples of Christian exclusiveness?

Some believe that the Christian faith is exclusive and alienates those that are not Christians.

Beliefs that you cannot belong without experiencing certain things, believing in certain thisng, or partcipating in certain rituals are exclusive. Requirements to be born again, baptized, baptized in the Spirit, sign statements of belief, etc. define who belongs. Some fellowships cast members out for being divorced, homosexual, or standing against doctrines: The most famous, are Martin Luther and Henry VIII.

Two of the major tenets of Christianity are that forgiveness for sins is only possible through Jesus Christ, and that everyone is a sinner. Thus, anyone who doesn't ask Christ for forgiveness is a sinner and will be punished accordingly. That's pretty alienating and exclusive.
