Dry cooking methods cook the food without using any moisture. They include roasting, baking, broiling (heat from above) and grilling (heat from below), as well as sauteing and pan frying. Deep-frying, while it involves submerging food in hot oil, is considered a "dry" cooking method. Dry cooking methods are the only way that food is browned.

It's a technique where you used high temperatures (more than 300°F). It is use when you want to have a browning food full of flavor.
