Dominant traits in a human include self awareness, id, and ego. Humans have the unique feature of being self aware and the ability to speak.

The dominant trait means one allele is apparent. This was originally hypothesized by Mandel. Some obvious dominant traits in humans are brown eyes v. other colors eyes, free earlobes v. attached earlobes, farsightedness v. normal vision, dark hair v. blonde hair, non-red hair v. red hair, normal v. PKU, and freckles v. no freckles.
