These rights protect a person from discrimination because of there gender, race, religion, age or sexual orientation. These rights also ensure equal access to healthcare and education for everyone. These rights are in place to make sure that every individual receives equal treatment. These rights are given to people who have citizenship in the country.

Civil Rights are the rights that protect a person, and citizens in general in any country that has civil rights, from the unwarranted actions of the government. For example, your civil rights mean that the police can't come and put you on trial just because they don't like you, they need to have evidence. Thats just one example of civil-rights
