Beta blockers are a type of medication used to treat high blood pressure. They are also used to treat arrhythmia, which is irregular heartbeat. The beta blocker controls the rate of the heartbeat. They are often given after someone has had a heart attack or is having heart failure. You should ask your doctor if you can take another medication.

Beta blockers are a group of medications used in the treatment of heart disease. If you are not being treated for high blood pressure, previous heartattack, or any other heart or cirulatory system issues, you are probably not taking one. If you are, consult your pharmacist.
