Arkansas, Georgia, Illinios, Indiana, kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin all have cities named Columbus. There are others with townships and villages, etc, but only these have actual cities.

There are nineteen states with a Columbus: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin. There is also a Columbus Grove, Ohio and Columbus City and Columbus Junction, Iowa. There are Columbus Townships in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
