Accountability partners are usually two people who struggle with the same issue, and are trying to overcome it. They often meet together to hold each other accountable and support each other with the struggle.
It is someone who holds you accountable for your actions, and for what you are supposed to do. If you don't do something correctly they are going to call you out on what you didn't do at the time.
