A pregnant rabbit might begin to gather hay or pluck hair from her abdomen, legs, or back in order to make a nest. If she has put on weight in the abdomen and movement can be seen or felt, it may be a good indication of pregnancy. She may also show some agression or dig in her food bowl.

Your rabbit will be trying to make a nest to have her babies. Watch for clumps of hair. Rabbits are very secretive. Best to keep her caged with a covered nesting box. Never touch the babies till they are roaming freely outside of the nesting box.

There are actually very few signs of pregnancy in rabbits until they begin to show in their belly area with the weight and girth of the litter they are carrying.
