What all can you do with the ATI Radeon 9600 Mac?

You can play a number of video games available to the Mac platform, and perform some video editing, as well as picture editing. Watching movies shouldn't be a problem with the ATI Radeon 9600 Mac, it should run pretty smoothly with it.

Nowdays, almost nothing. I mean you could recycle it. It's old for IT standards, and most modern games won't even start on it. But if you're not quite a gamer, there's no need to replace it.

The last generation of games the 9600 did well with was in the Half Life 2 era. It can play most newest games on the lowest settings still, however.
