He was brought up in a Presbyterian lifestyle, but he converted to Lutherism. He felt an affinity for Zen Buddhists as well as indigenous North Americans. He was very concerned with the environment and co-founded the Windstar foundation to promote his beliefs. He was mainly New Age beliefs in his adult years.

John Denver is the furthest in appearance, demeanor and nature from jewish I think I have ever seen. How could anyone possibly think he is jewish??

No. Those large glasses may have made him appear so. As a rule, Jews do not have blonde hair and fair skin.

Many people seem to believe and think that John Denver is Jewish when in fact he is not Jewish. His family history is not known it is only know that he's not Jewish.
