It's not a good idea. Generally flat paint doesn't tolerate well in spaces like a kitchen or a bathroom. When it gets wet or stained it stays that way and it stains. It's best to use something like Semi Gloss which can be cleaned.

A glossy paint would be better on a bathroom wall than a flat paint. Glossy paint will withstand the moisture of a bathroom, and can be more easily cleaned than a flat paint.

You should not use flat paint in any area that comes in contact with moisture. This includes bathrooms, kitchens, or any outdoor areas.

No. Flat is not a good finish for bathrooms. It doesn't scrub well and it won't hold up well to the humidity in a bathroom. The ideal finish for a bathroom paint is satin,but if you like the look of flat,an eggshell finish will give a similar look,but will be very durable and washable.
